
Ann Elkin, Phd , is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. In addition to her private practice and teaching, she supervises mental health providers and trains physicians and psychologists in the use of hypnosis. She treats a broad range of emotional problems.
Her professional training in psychotherapy includes Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive, Psychodynamic, Behavioral & Rational-Emotive Therapy. She uses an eclectic, pragmatic approach to problems.
Her professional memberships include: the American Psychological Association, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Academy Psychosomatic Medicine, the American Orthopsychiatric Medicine, the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists of which Dr. Elkin is a Diplomate and Fellow. She is also listed in Who's Who of American Women, and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.
